Any idea if the beat detection is anything like beat reaction in Boris Continuum? I was nearly about to purchase a license for Continuum for that effect alone, but if what is coming in VP 22 can do that it certainly is more attractive than the $700 for a perpetual license

I only requested AI reframe a week ago, and already they've added in Vegas22, these guys work fast!

Gid wrote on 7/3/2024, 8:12 PM

@SnarfConsortium These are the fxs in Continuum that have Beat Reactor in them

It will be interesting to see what that Beat Detection is 'To match video to audio beats' that's a bit vague ? , In Continuum there is another hidden fx that is just Beat Reactor on it's own, it shows in AE but not in Vegas, in AE any of the other fxs that are added to an event can be plugged into that Beat Reactor & the audio then affects that fx. It's been a while, I can't remember the facts.

@Gid Possibly something as simple as this, laying down beat markers, but also could be more advanced

I"m just really happy about the AI - Reframer, I literally use one every day, they can be a little annoying and robotic like perfectly centering everything to the point it looks strange, but if it's connected to anchor keyframes it's quick and easy to make adjustments

Gid wrote on 7/3/2024, 8:46 PM

@Todd-AO Maybe, that is one thing the beat reactor in continuum doesn't do,.

AI Auto Re-Framing: Automatically the adjust aspect ratio

Not very good English, typo? 😕 Surely that should be ' Automatically adjust the aspect ratio'

The English may have originated in Germany but the contents look great and useful, especially for homemade "pan and scan" trying to get wide video into a vertical or square container.

That's what it looks like. Upgrade from an older version to 21 & 22.

I don't know why they didn't off this kind of deal last year but I'm so glad it's back!
