Any information on Expansion Packs?

John-Ivar wrote on 12/1/2021, 4:27 AM

Does anyone know anything about the newly added "Expansion Packs" found in VEGAS Hub?

They're apparently offering both a "Movie Expansion Pack" and a "Sound Expansion Pack"

Sadly, clicking on either it gives a 404.

Expansion Packs ... https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/expansion-packs/

I never knew about that webpage, so it hasn't been promoted very much or at all until now. Maybe its brand new. I recall that years ago SCS had a similar webpage called something like Partners/Partner Shop (or store) or similar.

@John-Ivar, the 401 error must have been a temporary thing. I can't repro the problem. Do you still see it?

vkmast wrote on 12/1/2021, 6:43 PM

@gary-rebholz currently the Expansion Packs link in VEGAS Hub works here as it should.

@lan-mLMC, I suppose anything is possible, but that's a decision that's out of our hands here on the development team. I'll certainly pass the request on to the marketing team. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm today getting a 404 error as well. To see the web page ("learn more") you need to go to https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/expansion-packs/

(I think most of us reporting this are in Nordic countries, but that's probably just a coincidence.)

The page is there for us here in Poland. No issues....

Actually, if I choose U.S. as "my country" from the 404 page, I get the vcs.com product pages and can navigate there from the Products menu to the Expansion Packs page...

(VP 19 b 424 freezes occasionally trying the Hub logout and Task manager to the rescue.)
