Bought 17 on sale that offered 18 when it came out - never got it...

What's harder than locating a priest at a thrash metal concert? Vegas Customer Service email or phone number.

Seriously, how do I contact these people about this issue? When I bought 17, I got an email saying i'd receive the key when 18 came out. It never did. Tried looking up their customer service line, nothing. They say there's a link that pops up for chat during the normal business hours... it's a Monday at 10am, it doesn't get more normal business hours than this. Does anyone have a link to their customer service info?

Thanks...

@Miles-Thatch please note that the text in the Support page says "during service hours". The user-created FAQ about Chat service is here https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-get-help-and-support-for-vegas-pro--104781/ in item 6.

The "normal" procedure starts from "SUPPORT NEW" on black bar at the top of this page. A user-created tutorial is here.

This from VEGAS Facebook: "Please visit www.vegascreativesoftware.com/support between 12:00 and 4:00 Central (currently GMT-5) and use the chat widget in the lower-right-hand corner to talk directly to a rep who will be able to get you set up with the support you need."

Link buttons to VEGAS Social Media at the bottom of this page.

Ah, I see. Vegas normal business hours for a support window is 4 hours long...

That's how it is. Btw, did my comment answer your actual question?

Is there no other way to contact them besides the chat? The support new only has FAQ answers...

If you click on Support in the header of this forum, and then under Ask Support hit the Find a Solution button, and then click on the Order / Delivery / Payment selection, and then click on the Search for other Solutions button, and then code something like "serial number" in the free text field and then hit the Find a Solution button, you'll see at the bottom of the page that opens a Send a Support Request button which will enable you to create a support ticket.

Quite a convoluted process but unfortunately not all that uncommon with many companies these days.

That was described also in the tutorial I linked above here.
