I bought the post 365 subscription (one month) thinking it came with DVD architect on 06/08/20. It doesn't anymore. I didn't install or activate my software in anway, according to the terms and conditions i should be able to back out of the agreement with a full refund if i do so within 14 days of the contract starting. I emailed and asked for withdrawal from the contract as stated and i was sent this response from a team member.
"This is a renewed confirmation for the cancelation of your contract "VEGAS POST Suite 365" ( ACN-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx ). The contract will end on 07.08.2020.
as per the subscription terms, we require one month notice before the subscription renewal date to process a cancellation. As we did not receive notice, the subscription was extended for an additional contract period. A refund for this extension is not possible. We have cancelled your subscription so that it will not automatically extend at the end of the current period.

First off, the information the team member has responded to me with is in direct contradiction with the terms and conditions on the contract, they're saying that a full months notice needs to be provided in order to cancel a subscription, whereas it clearly states in the T&C that a day before is sufficient. Note that the teammember has helpfully provided excerpts from the T&C in their response, which supports my point and contradicts what theyre saying.
Secondly, most importantly, im not trying to cancel my renewal, i am trying to withdraw from the contract completely for a full refund as stated in the T&C that i am allowed to do within 14 days of purchase. i literally asked to be withdrawn from the contract with an hour from purchase.
Am i missing something here or has the team member misunderstood/messed up? I thought i am entitled to a full refund and cancellation but i could be wrong. if anyone can clear this up for me that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
