Error 24

Jem-Abasta wrote on 1/25/2022, 4:10 AM

I do videos on YouTube as a hobby and I’ve been using vegas 18 and currently swapped to 19 for over a year now. Earlier I tried to render a video and I received error -24 “serial code blah blah belonged too another account”. I went to Magix and my email doesn’t work anymore and when I went to register again with the SAME email, all the products I’ve been paying for over a year aren’t there anymore.

Is there a way to contact vegas to recover my serial code back to under my name? And if not is there a way to cancel the monthly vegas pro subscription I and currently paying for even though NONE of the products I’m subscribed to aren’t listed on my email?

I have used magix support center. But they are so garbage in their user support

@Dexcon let's give him the benefit of the doubt, he may mean using 18, then 19, for over a year now (altogether).

OTOH, as English is not my native language, I might interpret this incorrectly.

@vkmast  ... yes, that is a possibility. But given that the post overall is grammatically well structured, I took it that the "for over a year now" phrase was a modifying phrase referring to its subject of "swapped to 19". But yes, it could just be awkwardly phrased.

BTW, your command of English is excellent.
