What build of VP 18?
What CPU/GPU?
What footage does this happen with (jpegs, 8-bit AVC from a camera, download from YouTube, OBS, etc.)? If only certain footage try using MediaInfo to answer specifically: https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo

For your mp4 files, use MediaInfo to answer specifically what is in the MP4: https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo

Willy97 wrote on 7/12/2021, 10:28 PM

Ok I'll check right now and see if it's at 527. If it's not then what do I do

Please to go view/text and copy and paste in the info you see. More instructions here if you need them.

RogerS wrote on 7/12/2021, 10:44 PM

For drivers, go to help/driver update in Vegas Pro 18 and download graphics drivers if the ones recommended are newer than the one on your system.

I wouldn't go to Best Buy just yet.

Willy97 wrote on 7/12/2021, 10:51 PM

ok let me look 1 sec

Willy97 wrote on 7/12/2021, 10:53 PM

there is this, would it help to download

Willy97 wrote on 7/12/2021, 10:55 PM

i think the system is lower then online

Willy97 wrote on 7/12/2021, 10:57 PM

what folder should i download it to

Willy97 wrote on 7/12/2021, 11:03 PM

yea i think i didnt update the graphics drive on here

RogerS wrote on 7/12/2021, 11:13 PM

I would download and install the latest Studio driver as you are doing. For folder- just a place you can find it again is enough. Once you install it you can delete the downloaded file.

Willy97 wrote on 7/12/2021, 11:23 PM

Ok so my system version is this now higher.
