Just got an email from MAGIX. They know that this is an issue, and they are working on a fix/replacement.

Sounds promising. They're still advertising Superheroes with the MS Platinum 17 special Upgrade offer though in the product pages / online store.

Yeah. I still think they're working on it, so until they figure out a solid plan, I think they'll probably keep it on the website.

We've been in touch with Magix, and this plugin was released mistakenly. Please contact Magix support, and they will provide you with an alternative plugin pack.

From Magix sales:

It was either the MAGIX Sales Department (https://support2.magix.com/customer/en/request) or was MAGIX Customer/Technical Support (https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/support/search/?searchphrase=Errors+loading+plugins) (that option to contact them is at the bottom.) I did in fact ask both, but I don't know which responded. I would personally go with the Sales Department since it was a marketing issue.

This happened to me also, I got it with movie studio 17 platinum yesterday and none of the effects show up

Everyone who is having a problem should receive a replacement via email soon. I'd say today since they just recently changed the effect pack you get when you upgrade. I bet that will be the effect pack we're gonna get.

VEGASDerek. Please include me as one of the customers that bought VMSP 17 upgrade bundled with the Hitfilm pack but it does not integrate with my VMSP17. Please fix. Thank you!

@Joe-Engel4655 as others have suggested, try contacting MAGIX Sales. Hopefully they'll get around to providing "a different plug-in as a replacement --- via email" as they plan(ned) and thus informed a couple of users who posted above.

It has been almost 2 weeks now and I'm starting to get mad. I want my replacement effects pack as promised since I haven't heard ANYTHING about that since I got the email on the 8th. It's getting pretty annoying now.

@VEGASDerek, any follow-up on getting a replacement effects pack? It's been a long time since I've gotten that e-mail and I'm still waiting for any responses to the situation.
