@Francine-Genis Hi, it's the information about the media you're using to create the TikTok video not the final render that they're asking for, so it doesn't matter that you haven't been able to render it yet.

In MediaInfo there's a tab at the top 'Text', copy & paste into a comment all the info or as I've done screen grab a picture like I've done below.

I have put in all the recommended sizes and rendering template for TikTok, but when rendering it gets stuck on 5 % processing and it doesn't go any further. It's stuck... what to do???? I use Movie Studio 16.0 Platinum/Windows.

AFAIK TikTok uses 9:16 aspect ratio. Movie Studio has no templates for this aspect ratio (mostly only 16:9).

So you have to manually change project settings and render template to this 9:16 aspect ratio.

You can use the Voukoder rendering plug-in to render. It has a great advantage that it can automatically and accurately use project properties to render your video. Very suitable for users who have problems with rendering settings like you.

@Francine-Genis If it starts rendering but then stops try looking at what is on the timeline, remove one thing or turn off one effect, then try render, if it still doesn't work replace or turn back on that effect, Then try a different event or effect, keep doing this one at a time + render until you get a successful render, hopefully you'll be able to work out if there's a problem event of fx on the timeline.

Your project settings are "interlaced", should be "progressive".

Just a side note, please use the correct branding of your software. Your Movie Studio 16 Platinum (from MAGIX) is not a "Sony Vegas" version.

@Former user: I could actually render this video in a normal landscape 1920x1080 format. No problem. The problem began when I tried to render it for TikTok with the 1080x1920 format.

Make sure you don't turn on the filter of 'Render As'.

He's referring to this bit in Project Properties

@lan-mLMC: Filters are off.

@Francine-Genis HEVC sometimes handles 'different' size projects.

Also this button can help get the correct render size.

Considering that you are Movie Studio 16, you need to install connector 1.5.0.

@3POINT & @Former user: changed it to progressive, but still it keeps stuck at 5% rendering.

@Francine-Genis What is on the timeline at 5-10%? It's having a go at rendering but then is struggling with something.

@Former user: a new clip with time stretching. Could that be the problem?
@lan-mLMC: i did download the right one, but I didn't save it in the Vegas directory itself. So now I did, and it is showing up in the Render As dialogue box.

Congratulations, it will help you get rid of annoying rendering setting workflow and render completely using your project properties.

@Francine-Genis The only way to find is try rendering just that stretched event on it's own, if it renders ok try replacing the orig stretched clip with that newly rendered clip , Or remove orig stretched clip from the timeline & see if it renders ok without that event,
