Update Version 17.0 (Build 421) crashes by startup

I updated the new version build 421 but since then my version of vegas 17 is useless. Everytime I try to start the program i get the pop-up that the program stops working.3 Whatever I do, I just can get it working. Very frustrating. The worst update ever.

Strangely enough I updated and when I launched the program after a restart, I got automatically a request for a new update, which I did.

And then the only thing I get is this:

Problem Description
   Application Name:    VEGAS Pro
Application Version: Version 17.0 (Build 421)
   Problem:             Unmanaged Exception (0xe06d7363)
   Fault Module:        C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll
   Fault Address:       0x00007FFC09A9A839
   Fault Offset:        0x000000000003A839

I am unsure if I have found the correct dump file, but it appears something is wrong trying to open up the color grading panel on startup. I would suggest resetting your preferences as a start. If that does not help, please contact customer support.

Can't even get that far. It crashes by startup.

Hold crtl+shift when clicking on Vegas' icon to launch it, do not release until the dialog to reset settings appears.

Build 421 fixed the KernelBase error I had with 387. I had to revert to Build 353 and it worked with no KernelBase error. I upgraded from 353 to 421 without the error reoccurring. My Win 10 64bit is up to date. I did do the startup reset when I first loaded 421.

421 has also worked for me. I did the startup reset with my 353 revert and so far with a simple project 421 is stable.

Not! Unfortunately, build 421 has the same issue about kernelbase.dll as build 387 or 353. The only updates that go perfectly are 284 and 321.

In my case, VP always opened well, but the error about kernelbase.dll occurs when I want to open existing projects.

Unfortunately, build 452 has the same issue about kernelbase.dll at open existing projects as build 421, 387 or 353. The only updates that work perfectly are 284 and 321.

Did you contacted customer support?
Meanwhile: Graphics card driver up to date?
Resetting preferences as a start?
