Is there any options to upgrade from Movie Studio to Vegas Pro? I purchased Movie Studio Suite a couple weeks ago but now realizing I need Vegas pro or even Vegas Edit pro...Thanks.
Sorry, but Im a little confused. I don't want to upgrade to a newer version of Movie Studio. I want to upgrade from Movie Studio to Vegas Edit Pro. Just wondering if that's possible.
Yes, you can get it for $199 at http://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/newsletter/special-offer/vegas-pro-14/ and click the "Vegas Pro Edit" button. That offer is valid until 16th October and it works even if you don't own any version of Vegas or Movie Studio. So you're not getting any benefit from owning Movie Studio, but it's still less than half of the regular Pro Edit price.

I am very dissappointed that there was a special offer to upgrade to Vegas Pro that expired yesterday. I've been waiting for an email announcing upgrades, and do not appear to have received one, and I've been watching the Movie Studio Platinum 13 page almost every other day, and there also doesn't appear to have been any notifications.

In principle, MAGIX notify those whose email addresses they find on the email databases they got from SCS. Not all of us have been that lucky. Otherwise you need to follow forum posts giving this info. Read e.g. this link
