Here we go again... it hasn't even officially been released and you're already criticizing. At least download the trial (when available) and give it a proper test before you make negative comments.
The product pages in the VP 16newsletter that some have received seem to be incomplete versions. Wait for the official vegascreativesoftware.com to update its pages to VP 16. I expect the official announcement will be in the Forum News section after the weekend including the new general discussion thread link.
There is also a new Bézier Masking OFX-Plug-in... I don't know how much the manipulation of point and tangeant has been improved but just this new OFX-plugin could be worth the upgrade. In others things, you can now create up to five different masks.

@Kinvermark, I hope you weren't pointing your comment at me.....
I'm looking forward to the new fanboy icon, you know the way that a very small ‘m’ appears where the poster is a moderator, well version 16 is also adding a new ‘f' icon. You have to have a good track record as a fanboy to get one though. It’ll have a higher ranking than a moderator so something to aspire to.
Extra fanboy points are earned for how often you suceed in squelching any negative comments by other users. When you get the ‘f' badge you can even ban them altogether.
JN_, last time I checked personal attacks were against the rules around here, so perhaps one of those bans you talk about will be coming your way soon if you don't quit attacking people. I'm sure those with a very small "M" by their name will agree. We are here to discuss software, not people.

Well frosty, no doubt Kinvermark can speak for himself, I doubt he needs another fanboy to do so. If moderators choose to ban me thats their call, not yours. Vegas will not thrive solely on always only saying nice things about it, it needs constructive criticism at times. It pains me to see the way Kinvermark and you jump down peoples throats if they say anything critical of VP. No doubt there is always the possibility of trolls rubbishing Vegas either because they are just nasty or have an agenda. When you aren’t careful you can easily assume someone is acting up when thats just not the case, several examples already in this single thread of that.
Who gave you and Kinvermark the right to police the forum, that is the moderators job.
I know, it’s just human nature to get upset when you see someone criticising a beloved piece of software that you love😩, but really, most of the time its just not personal, so dont take it as so.
Discerning between someone who is being genuinely critical and a troll isn't always easy, if in doubt, hold off criticising what may turn out to be a genuine poster. If they are messers it’ll show in time.
