I'm wondering if there is any specific decoder not working in VP18.

Do you have other MP4 to try and see if you can import it?

Can you check in C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\18.0\fileio_x64.log, and posted it here?

I took this approach similarly like MP3 issue that some users were reporting many times ago, and in this fileio log, we can see that MP3 reader is not loaded successfully.

Can you try reset your VP18 or reinstall and see if that works?

and Uninstall reinstall VP18 is the very last attempt to try...

Again... I can't promise if this can fix the problem, and this is totally a trial and error...

Update: Vegas 18 started after changing the file name So4Reader to _So4Reader. Later return of names to So4Reader and every Vegas starts normally but still does not read files from DJI Osmo Action.
