Vegas pro (21) suite 365

Never mind, I can download from my account at Magix. It is apparently 21 (although not visible from the general install file name until you download and start the install process).

Did you 365 Serial number work in VP21? Mine doesn't

Edit: You must go into your Magix Service Center and deactivate any devices currently running VP20, you will then receive a new Serial Number that will work with VP21.

@jacknsb Yes, it did. Strange your added comment on deactivating, I did not had to deactivate. I am even able to run VP20 and VP21 on the same device (even running concurrently, which is handy to align your customized Vegas settings). Maybe because my VP20 (and VP21) was only installed on one (and obviously the same) device?

@bitman I have the Same Question about my VP365 that run on VP20 and I dont know what to do to let it Run on VP 21 my Renew date is 2024 /1/19 .

Can you explain to me what to do, please? almost like step by step, I did try to do what @jacknsb said " You must go into your Magix Service Center and deactivate any devices currently running VP20"

but I don't find it .

@Theuns I did not get a mail to tell me to upgrade, just a popup on launching VP 20 (365) to buy the new version 21 - which I obviously did not want to buy - as I still have an active subscription well into 2024 before it expires which entitles me to upgrade to VP21 (365) anyway.

Ideally Magix should have informed me with a popup that I can upgrade (and how) to VP21 (365) freely since I still have subscription active well into 2024.

There is obviously room for improvement in the 365 upgrade notification...

I upgraded by going into my Magix account and downloaded the install file, but I suppose you can just follow the links @jetdv or @vkmast provide and install from the download. I did not need to deactivate my VP20 version.

I also send a support ticket to report and this I the reply they send me

I am just buzy rendering a Video now for a client but I did yesterday what the say

and it just tell me there is no update so I will see what Happen and maybe do a Screen Rec for them to see what is going on with 365.

I will keep you posted , here is the mail the send me...

from your side, you only need to update the program and it will automatically upgrade itself to the latest version.

@Theuns Yes, just a few hours back. At least they send a mail to inform us, although it was already released a few days back, and I had already installed it when it came out (downloaded the install file via my account).

They also provided me with an acid music studio 11 license in this mail today as I am on the 365 suite.

I noticed the Acid program when installing Vegas when it came out, but I had not installed the ACID yet. Not sure I will, yet another music program, I already have Music maker.

I am also not installing the Boris thing, as I have the whole Boris suite anyway, and I do not want to mess it up. So from the 365 VP21 suite I only installed the mocha, VP21 and the AI files.

@bitman Jip I agree with you they could send the mail out the moment the did the upgrade we did jump around like dugs don't know what to do LOL.

I wish I could have the whole Boris Suite but I don't have The money yet but I working on it.

Lell me Do your Drop File work because even if i put the setting to unlineted It still tell me this is no space to upload a file I am force to you We Trancefer to send big file or for my klients to send files to me.

Where is the best place to learn how SOUND FORGE Audio Studio work?

@Theuns I do not have everything from Boris, just all the Continuum Plugins. I would wait for Black Friday sales, you usually can get the Boris suite at a significant sale price.

I did not install the sound forge studio since I already have the pro version; the studio version is a "lighter" version.

The best place to learn SF is (like many things in this day and age I presume) is to look for youtube tutorials...

hi guys, can anyone help me, ive dowloaded the files for v21 but im still running v20. i'm afraid to deactivate anything dealing with v20 because i dont know how that will affect my subscription. also when i download v21 it runs and then says to remove v21... im confused

@stephen-corner, you don't need to deactivate 20. Just install and activate 21 if you have a 365 serial number.

The install process always "removes" the old build before installing the new build.

I am from Belgium, we share pretty much the same time zone (but more than 9000 km apart as the birds fly!). By the way you could have got that info by clicking on my icon 🤓!

If you speak South African, I probably understand a lot as I speak natively Flemish which is the Belgian variant of Dutch.

I never been to South Africa, the nearest I got was a road trip in Namibia.

Wow yes, we are in the same time zone more it les like the UK I think.

Well the nearest I got out of S.A was one time when I went to Mozambiek but I love to see your side of the world.

It will be nice if we can have a Zoom call to have a nice chat and I will be nice to have a Budy that also Works with Vegas So if I am stuck I just can pop you a mail or WhatsApp to ask you for some help. maybe in the coming week if you like to do that.
