Was Mocha Vegas in the previous version Vegas Pro 21.b108 not in the video-fx list?

I looked at your movie, but I still don't see any difference from the previous version.

Vegas Pro 21 b 108 is not a previous version but a former build.
Vegas Pro 20 is a previous version.

Mocha Pro and Mocha Vegas are different products, the latter being a very trimmed down version of the fully- featured Mocha Pro which, in its OFX form, operates as a plugin in Vegas Pro as well as some other NLEs.

Note that this is pending the release of Mocha Pro v10.0.5 which will contain the compatibility changes.

The source is a comment on the Reddit forum from a BorisFX staff member. So I guess that we'll have to wait until BorisFX release the next Mocha Pro build in order to see the change in behaviour to match that of Mocha Vegas.

@Former user  ... I'll take a wild guess that Mocha Pro integration refers to the ability to transfer tracking data from Mocha Pro into Vegas Pro as currently occurs with Mocha Vegas. The following short video from Vegas' YT channel outlines how Mocha Vegas tracking data is transferred to and used in Vegas Pro:

@Dexcon That makes sense, Mocha AE will transfer data... I don't use that info transfer but I thought you could already transfer tracking or shape data from Mocha Pro to Vegas Motion tracker, I might be getting mixed up with AE that i had for a while. (that video shows a better 'integration' of the transfer then the one i'm thinking of)

This just means that the plugin-side data creation tools in Mocha VEGAS will be available in Mocha Pro 2023 v10.0.5, specifically:

* Mocha surface data applied as a Corner Pin PiP Effect
* Layer roto data applied as VEGAS Bezier Mask Effect (up to 5 masks).

Essentially it provides similar functionality that the Mocha AE and Mocha Pro Adobe plugins have had for a while: It allows the creation of track data and mask data inside the host directly via the plugin interface.

You will not see any change in the Mocha Pro plugin versions before this.

Hi, I had purchased Vegas Post. I upgraded to Vegas Pro v21 build 187, but Mocha Vegas is not included. Where can i get this? The download link on the below page does nothing (it says javascript void)

... Mocha Vegas only comes with Vegas Suite and Vegas Post - but not with Vegas Edit.

@Dexcon I had purchased Vegas Post, it installed Vegas Pro. I do not have Vegas Edit.

@Tony_A have you tried another browser? E.g. Chrome may show that "javascript:void(0)". (Or copy the link and try again.)
