Please keep checking the Vegas Pro product pages on vegascreativesoftware.com and this forum's News section. "Version 16 is on it´s way, scheduled to release at the end of August 2018." (From the current Vegas Pro 15 product page)
How is it working for user ? i see some people alread downloading the V16, but where ? or people who bought it before today must wait tomorrow ? (just by curiosity :) ).
I ordered Vpro 16 on saterday august 25 and after I payed by Visa within 1 minute came this email :
A few nice new features but still no improvement in the GPU acceleration. I guess it may just be too difficult to implement without a complete rewrite of the software.
Unfortunately the program will not start. See below for Error.

Hmm, Looks like if there is an issue with the Ignite bundle installed. Would Store that elsewhere and delete it from the Vegas directory for testing. But at your own risk.
Yes, moved the folders and it worked. Then I downloaded the trial version of Ignite Pro from their website, installed it, registered it with the license key Magix sent and it all works now.

I was getting 50-60% utilization on average with 15 while rendering NVENC, as high as 90% (according to GPUz), I have not finished benchmarking 16 (the benchamark project included with 16 uses features 15 doesn't have, so it isn't backwards compatible), but I do notice much smoother timeline editing performance. Rendering is about the same, but the process of editing itself is much faster, smoother, and more reliable than before.
My impression is that GPU acceleration already DID get a complete re-write for Vegas 15. I would expect further improvements to be evolutionary rather than revolutionary.
That's a fantastic line----"evolutionary rather than revolutionary!" I'm going to use that at our next office meeting when the supervisor asks me what I think.

having the same issue, were did u move it too..?
I just moved the 2 items to another hard drive. I could have just deleted them as the reinstall put new files in and fixed the issue. I downloaded the trial version of Ignite Pro from their website, installed it.
@JesusSheep-1965 please don't repeat same message over and over. The crash caused by Ignite and a possible solution is already posted elsewhere (and linked in your initial crash thread).
Is This Counting down or Bug Reports Moderators I feel put me here because just all ready some one posted it here .Any ways My Experence With Bundeled is magix includes previous version not the current one.
At This point I can I will not purchase vegas Pro 16 .When Vegas 15 Is Working with Plugins I Have sent 4 Crash Reports. I would suggest downloading the trial before even purchasing an upgrade. I will test in not on my laptop.
@Marco The Post I put me has correct topic and the problem is not resolved. I am posting off topic here because you put me here. And have no other place to Post it.Am waiting now for it to be fixed. When I first posted You directed me here leading me that this was the correct place to post. so I followed your like and posted there.
This is not encouraging. I also have Ignite from Hitfilm directly, and it seems to cause a crash in Vegas 16? No problems with Vegas 15, BTW. It doesn't seem to me that there is currently a "solution".

I am not simply repeating it over and over .I am Using HitFilm Studio My Serial Number is Valid for Hitfilm Studio.thx
PS I reposted where you told me to go even though this area is off topic.:) I did not install the ones from magix because The Ones from Hitfilm work in 15.
Probably this is the solution. There is an (updated?) installer for Ignite. So deïnstall it and try Vegas 16 again. When it opened, install Ignite from its website, install and register it with your earlier gegister code.
That is and was the solution for james-ollick and others
I would rather not install my plugins that are working in Vegas 15 just to get a trial to work. When i baught Vegas 15 Suite the plugins that Magix had were out of date. And it looks that way now still.I have Mocha pro ,Hitfilm Studio,And More. Also Using Divinchi Resolve.I reported Problem with Vegas 15 Importing Adobe Premier Pro Projects Has that been fixed yet? Can 16 Import Priemer Pro cc2011 and after ?
