Not sure how this giant thread works but it would be great if when clicking on an email notification about a new post that we got taken to that post rather than the start of the entire thread. Thanks

It does always directing you to the last comment...

Including here, I got this shortcut link from that e-mail notification:

Not for me it doesn't. I guess it must be a browser setting. I guess I need to fiddle.

The comment the email links to will not always appear at the top of the page, depending on how long it is and how much other commentary is above and below it, but you should always be taken to the page that contains the comment.

What browser and its' version do you use?

vkmast wrote on 11/2/2016, 9:30 AM

(No.27) "COMMENTS on MY PROFILE to display most recent first"  now done. Thanks.

Pale Moon 26.5.0 64 bit. And I just had to login again to post this despite using remember me.

I count at least 8 enhancements/fixes in yesterday's update. Look for "DONE 👍" in the first post. Thanks very much Magix team. Keep going! Search by date would be top of my wishlist now, perhaps as part of an advanced search page.

Before the list becomes unnecessarily short:😉
Please insert the author as a link with the quotations

Lol. I will delete the "DONE" stuff in the list at some point and probably shuffle the order around. Left them for now, as there are so many recent fixes.

Good suggestion! I have added it.

vkmast wrote on 11/3/2016, 4:48 AM

For some time there's been "last login" date on profile page. Might pass as 26. done?

Thanks. DONE 👍

[ Edit: Also list in OP restructured ]

Why three emails informing me that someone "commented on a post that (I am) interested in"? One would suffice.

Added that to the OP.

Also added my own request to reinstate the breadcrumbs at the bottom of the page.

Also moved these 2 items down to the "done" list:

This is something we have on our list. Unfortunately this doesn't have a high priority.

That is something we want to implement in the next update. Furthermore the breadcrumbs structure at the bottom of a thread will return.

It would be great if it was possible to Copy Paste image on the post (using snipping tool on Windows makes easy) instead of uploading each time an image.

+1. The image appears in the post but doesn't get uploaded. It would be a great timesaver if it did.

Was there something wrong with this .info site earlier today (CET) ? I could not see any posts for several hours. I do not see any new posts/comments for that period now either.

set wrote on 1/18/2017, 7:18 AM

Yep, there was a bug on this forum for almost 11 hours (occurred first time on 06.30 AM UTC+7 Jan 18 2017 (Jakarta, West Indonesia time), and it was a midnight in German (00.30 Berlin, German time)).

I thought it was an upgrading session as usual, but somehow after 10 hours being offline, I'm curious and asked Magix employee.

Red Prince wrote on 1/18/2017, 8:43 AM

Please, keep us posted about what caused it, Set. It was early afternoon in the continental US when it started.

EDIT: Corrected grammar (changed “cause” to “caused”).

This off topic section seems limited only to 7 pages and can't get further more?
