It's very hard to understand from the video what the "problem" is. Could you better explain the problem? In the video you're jumping around, cutting things, playing things, talking (very quickly) about things but I'm not understanding exactly what the issue you're trying to show really is.

Sorry about that, I didn't know I was using vegas pro 21, but the problem is that basically everytime i cut something or the editing software lags even a tiny bit, do you see how it just restarts the entire video or just glitches out entirely making it incredibly hard to edit or even sync the videos? I was editing a gaming video earlier and the entire clip just glitched out when i worked so hard on it, its really annoying and when it lags even the tiniest bit or i cut it, it just glitches out the entire video and doesn't sync anything

I don't see any particular problems with this media based on the mediainfo. Are you using OBS? (You seem to be based on the video above- some sample settings here).
What's your CPU and GPU? What build of 21 is it? Did it ever work well?
Sorry about that, I didn't know I was using vegas pro 21
Seriously???

Based on your video and what you're saying, I'm not seeing anything. But, like I said, you're jumping around so quickly I'm not really sure what you're wanting us to look at.
@9Arro Are you saying that every time you make a split, automatically, the video and audio events became out of sync? If so, you should upload a sample of the video you are editing, doing that I'm sure someone could help you to detect the issue.
1. Your video is 60fps, which is notorious for timeline preview stalls and lags, on almost any system. I'm hoping my new i9 will eliminate some of that.
2. That's why Vegas, for the last 23 years, has the Proxy render solution, one that works. Search.
3. Your jumping around the timeline in a manner unheard of in any postproduction workflow, is just adding to the problem by artificially loading your RAM and VM memory buffers, causing an overflow situation.
Yes, I corrected it immediately after it was posted, and I sincerely apologize for the spam in your inbox. At my age, I have to review all of my posts to avoid looking silly.
Your comment in this thread is useful and appreciated, and welcome to the discussions @Thiago_Sase@vkmast

1. i've always edited in 60 fps though, which makes it weird because i used to use vegas 17 and it never had this problem, only after i got vegas 21
2. i'll search it up rn
3. i usually jump around that much when im regularly editing, as thats what works for me, and this problem has only really come up in the past few weeks, not when i originally got sony vegas 21
4. well i'm using sony vegas 21, im on windows 11 pro version 23h2, i'm using OBS, i can upload a slower video to show the problem a little better if that helps

also another thing, it's not whenever i make a split, it's whenever my sony vegas lags even the tiniest bit

My CPU is an 11th gen intel core i7-11700KF, my GPU is a vega 64
build 315
yeah it worked well for a while before this started happening
@9Arro why do you keep saying that you're using "sony vegas 21" when you must actually have VEGAS Pro 21 (from MAGIX) since the last "sony vegas" was version 13? (As you were advised in the first comment.)
Please use the correct branding of the software to avoid confusion. Thank you.

Probably because @9Arro is using a pirated Vegas version. @9Arro Is always talking about that he got Vegas and not that he purchased Vegas.
