@Howard-Vigorita It seems you don't understand what the FX which can access multi-inputs. What you said track, video output fx are all one input fx, are all filter.

Then what is event FX which can access other layers? Pleas look at the Davinci event level fx picture above, it can not only read one onput as foreground, but also second input as background, even third input as mask or mette.

@Howard-Vigorita

Another example : BCC Particle Array 3D

In Davinci Resolve, apply BCC Particle Array 3D to noise layer, set noise layer as BCC's texture layer (source B). Then set another spectrum layer (source B) as BCC's color layer :

In Vegas Pro, apply BCC Particle Array 3D to noise layer, set noise layer as BCC Particle Array 3D's texture (source). Then I want to set spectrum layer as BCC's color layer, but there is no (source B). It means Vegas can't make spectrum layer (in another track) as BCC's source B :

It is not easy to realize it, because it need fixing VEGAS Pro's core code.

It should keep up with these mainstream pro NLE.

@Dexcon

BCC in VEGAS Pro can't work normally as Davinci. Not only the event FX which can access any other layer, but also the on-screen control.

The vegas developers should improve it. Otherwise vegas users will be low grade than davinci users and be looked down upon.

Now that's an interesting point of view...

This is a trouble of all vegas users. They always can't be reconized and always are looked down upon by peers.
