Update for VEGAS Pro 16

In VEGAS Pro 16, when I try to animate the keyframes for text or video effects, it is very buggy. I'll select a keyframe I want to alter, but often it will create an entirely new keyframe in another area I did not select. It also very often applies the alterations I make to one keyframe to another one, and sometimes these changes do not show up in the video preview, but they are there in the editing box. I think this might have to do with the fact that my copy of VEGAS Pro 16 is not fully updated (it is build 248), but I am not finding any way to update it within the software. I have looked for another way to download it, and I found links to update it to build 424 in one of the replies to the following post: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/new-update-424-for-vegas-pro-16--115599/?page=1 However, when I clicked on those updates, I got a message saying that the file could not be downloaded securely. So I don't know what to do at this point. I know that there is the auto-update feature for VEGAS Pro, but I have not received any messages popping up in VEGAS Pro 16 about updates for 16, I guess because MAGIX is done with VEGAS Pro 16, but I'm not interested in upgrading to VEGAS Pro 22.

How do I fix this problem with the buggy keyframe animations? And if I have to update to a later build of VEGAS Pro 16, how can I securely download build 424?

Re your changes not showing up. please see if point 2 in this FAQ post helps.

And re updating to your VEGAS software to the last build, you may need to try and open a support ticket by contacting VEGAS Support. Advice here. Outline your problem and be sure to include your license number.

@Five

Not sure how you could have a problem updating unless you are using a cracked version of VEGAS Pro 16. If that is the case, then you are not going to get any support here.

@vkmast, I followed your instructions in regard to the support ticket, and MAGIX told me that what I had to do was log in to vegascreativesoftware.com, go to My Products, find VEGAS Pro 16 on the list, and then re-install the program by clicking the installation link. I was able to successfully update it to build 424 that way, and it appears that the bug with the keyframes is now gone. Thanks for the help!
