@Marco. @Grazie this just happens or doesn't. I managed to tag Marco. from an earlier page to a comment box (not used it). Copied it from there and pasted. Finally seemed to work.

1.) For bigger projects, such as feature film editing, "nesting" becomes an important function. (Edit a project within a project, some call it compound clips) This is now already possible, but only by opening another instance of Vegas. Why not follow the example of FCP or others and introduce a Tab-Based functionality. Double-Clicking on such a compound clip would open that clip in another Tab of the Timeline. (which currently doesnt exist)

2.) Incoperate a software like Pluraleyes into Vegas, so audio-synching could be achieved easily without additional software.

3.) Add a De-Noising Filter to the Effects.

4.) Add a Section for Lower-Thirds Text Overlays with a lot of presets.

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR CONSIDERING THOSE SUGGESTIONS.

And it would be great if in future Magix could Include in Vegas Pro some kind of a AI color corection, thank you :)

Advanced Pro Text effects like: Text to sand, etc.

fr0sty wrote on 7/3/2019, 5:30 PM

No NLE has the truly advanced stuff, there is dedicated motion graphics software required for that, as proper sand requires particle simulation. Vegas Post may interest you when it drops. Judging by the trailer, and HitFilm's features, it should have some sort of particle simulation.

That said, some new text animation presets would be nice.

Looks like it's coming out next month?

E-O August is the typical time each year. Not to be a downer, but in the past the first few releases are a bit buggy. So remember to do the trial first to make sure it works for your workflow.

There are a few new features listed in the Magix Website: Multiple timelines (YEAHHHHH!!!), h.265 hardware acceleration, etc.

Scroll towards the end of the relevant product pages, e-g. https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/vegas-pro/ to see some of them listed under "Exclusive Offer", "Sneak Peak of Vegas Pro 17".

I hope Canon's 80D 50fps and Sony's A7III 100fps MP4 files will play smooth at last in Vegas Pro 17 without proxies!!! If it goes well i 'll reconsider of jumping to Davinci Resolve because i prefer Vegas Pro edit workflow as an event editor, minimal and fast edit!..

I am pleased to read those have been integrated. Thanks, Magix.

I'd like to add a feature request. Please could hovering the mouse pointer over an Fx symbol bring up a pop-up (like tool tips) showing what is in the Fx chain? This would make it easier to see what effects are in use without opening the effects dialog.

Used Vegas Pro since about version 14

Vegas Pro 22 (VP20 also installed)

Win 11 Home 64 bit, always updated

Intel Core i5 13400F, 10 cores/16 threads

32GB DDR5 RAM, 5200

Intel Arc A750 Graphics card

MSI Pro B760M-A Motherboard

I like this idea. Not sure if or when we can get to this, but I'll add this to our feature backlog.
