Vegas Pro error F2E755234AF4424FA9663F6F819ECF4F

Need help.
I can't update my vegas pro 20 with the latest free update because the message always appears:
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package
`VEGAS_PRO_20_setup_x64.ms` in below

However, in the download folder there is no file with this name.

I'm encountering the same error message when I try to update my installation of Vegas.

Here I attach a screenshot with the error: https://imgur.com/a/n2OVWaY

I must note that recently I did some disk cleanup so maybe I accidentally removed some important files Vegas needs to use during the update?

Contact VEGAS Support? (Include your serial number.)

Doesn't work for me, either. I keep getting the same message.

EDIT: Can't do a clean uninstall, either. Uninstaller keeps asking about "VEGAS_PRO_20_setup_x64.ms" which doesn't exist.

Ok, looks like I found a solution.

When you try to upgrade/uninstall your version of Vegas and see this error message: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable", do the following...

1) check your build of Vegas. For me it's 20.0.0.214. It should be displayed somewhere when you launch the program.

2) now search for your build's installer here: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/news-forum/patches/

3) once you download the installer, extract its' contents using 7-Zip (https://7-zip.org/). You may want to copy the path of the location you extracted to

4) now try again upgrading/uninstalling Vegas and when it throws you the abovementioned error, just point the installer/uninstaller to the location where you extracted the contents of installer's exe. You may paste the path you copied in 3)

5) the process of upgrading/uninstallation should now continue as expected

Unfortunately it didn't work for me. The file does not appear in the location. Magix could fix that.
