Where can I see MY SOFTWARE?

Comments

Right now, still and only on your old SCS accounts.

Since today they are not all there anymore.
Only earlier versions of the software.
For the last versions, bought at Sony, you will be redirected to the rebranded version on the Magix site.

For me the whole lot has gone from SCS now. I guess they couldn't wait...

...and still not appeared at https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/ . Thankfully I have all the installers and serial numbers and screenshots of my orders. I'm sure many users don't.

If this had been handled correctly between SCS and MAGIX, there would have been no gap in availability of this information.

I have the same picture, and there is only one software back on it, the CATALYST. Most of the links does not work properly and MAGIX spupport send me  the Sony download site adress to downloadin of trying version and register it - how I can do it without my software Keys?

Have you checked your archived mailbox? especially from Sony Creative Software <confirm@sonycreativesoftware.com>, with subject contains 'Order Confirmation', you should able to find the copy of serial number on the e-mail.

Just. Brilliant. And this post is marked "resolved", which it is not. I can't find a way to download Vegas Pro 13 from either site. Therefore the situation is FUBAR.

If you want Sony Vegas Pro 13 build 453, does the link below not work for you?

vkmast wrote on 10/3/2016, 12:17 PM

Cornico, were you logged on to your old SCS account while you tried this?

It does work for me still ATM.

vkmast wrote on 10/3/2016, 12:52 PM

OK, Cornico. So it seems for some these are lost while "in transit" and for others available and "not in transit."

Nick H, who's doing a tremendous job trying to help us in this confusion, posted this today

Just this morning I went to the old Sony account and downloaded one more of my old software, Sound Forge 9, which I had left behind days ago when I had downloaded TVP 12. I had no problems opening both; everything still there from Sony TVP 6.0 all the way up to 13.0. by which I want to say that all my software are still available but I also believe that other people's files have been transited to Vegas 14 (MAGIX) and will become available to us once MAGIX has appropriated eveyone's; something I can easily imagine can be going on day and night for weeks.

I can't use that given link because in the end it will direct me to a VP14 offer, too. But if I visit SonyCreativeSoftware.com and there log-in into my account, all my registered software is still available for download there (including the serials).

The "SCS information" links in Nick's post linked above work for me and seemingly several others. Reading various comments on several threads I get the impression that they do not work for everybody any more.

Well, I did receive a link from someone at Magix that allowed me to update my VP13. And shortly thereafter, I received an upgrade offer for VP14. Bought the upgrade, and so far, so good. Let's hope they clear up the confusion around the SCS/Magix transition. I did find my account info at SCS, and save the info with product keys. But any links to software on the SCS just redirect to Magix with the new software. There were bound to be some hiccups in this process, but this is one that should have been avoidable.

I should add that after posting that, I was messaged by a MAGIX employee. It turns out that it was an error, and all my software was soon restored to the SCS "My Software" and "My Orders" pages.

Poul, can you now see your software and orders at these pages?

Or did you just get your information from Sony emails that have been re-sent to you?

Poul wrote on 10/4/2016, 2:49 AM

Hi Nick

No, I can not see any of my sofware or orders on my Sony site. I've got the list of my Sony emails with order and serial numbers of all may products and I will try to "get" them back to my Sony site, but I can first do it tomorow.

I don't know of a way for you to get them back to the Sony site yourself, but at least you have the email records now.

Poul wrote on 10/4/2016, 6:09 AM

May be it is not worthy to go back to Sony.
As I understood I have to register my software to MAGIX-my-site.

"- - -As written in some other threads we are actually reworking the whole technical serial and actication processes. After finishing that in a couple of weeks we're switching to our servers. It might take some weeks until all users will find all their serial numbers in their accounts because they are not just a few hundreds ;) But all the transfered serials should work directly after the switch.

V14 has a MAGIX serialnumber so you'll find it after the registration in your Account at www.magix.com."

I’m experiencing some of the same issues. On SCS, none of my Vegas purchased since v10 show up.

Next, I manually registered v13 with Magix, but it was rejected:

> Wrong product registration number

> Please check your entries again.
> If necessary, use the product registration directly from within your MAGIX product.

Next, I called Sales support. They said someone should get back to me in 2 days.

UPDATE (2016-10-21): Sales did get back to me today via email, providing the download for Vegas Pro 14 and all the necessary registration codes.

Poul wrote on 10/20/2016, 1:18 PM

I called MAGIX support and supporter sendt me all my mails from Sony with serial and products numbers. It was not possible to get all this back to My-Sony page.

I'm sure that from October 25, 2016 on we can enter our serial numbers on MAGIX, register, download and forget all about the workarounds of the last two months.
