So your problem is you cannot see the FX window?

Try to use a smaller Vegas Pro window size, move the main Vegas Pro window and see if the FX window is hidden behind or at the outer edge of your main Windows screen.

Or try resetting Vegas Pro by starting the program while having Ctrl.+Shift pressed during the startup process.

You could also try temporarily moving/hiding the Taskbar.

@fanyz-k maybe Vegas inadvertently got the event fx window hidden in a funky layout. If so, ALT-D should restore the default window layout. Happens to me often enough that I save my preferred layout in the "View,Windows Layouts" menu.
