For users with having both German and English posts turn on, giving a little flag icon or DE/USA icon can help noticing which posts are in English language, and which are in German language.

This assumes that e.g. the posters on the German side would not write in English there...

The word order in some of my posts or comments is getting mangled when I post. This has happened probably about 5 times now since the new forum was introduced. Typically a group of some of the last words in my post gets moved earlier in the post and I have to go in and edit the post to correct it. It may be related to using bold, links etc., as opposed to plain text. Also I use CTRL+X and CTRL+V a lot when I compose my posts. Firefox 48.0.2. Anyone else experienced this?

Anyone else experienced this?

I've been wondering about that too. I thought it was just me and my clumsy fingers.

set wrote on 9/14/2016, 2:27 AM

Me with Google Chrome also experience similar issue.

Could you please write me a personal message with the text you wanted to write and how it was "mangled" after posting? This would help to find a bug pattern.

Also we are fixing right now the issue set was mentioning about the google drive links.

Another bug... If you navigate directly to the end of a post, by clicking on "Answers" section on the right, then the QUOTE button doesn't work. It only works if you navigate through the thread page by page. Can anyone else confirm?

I'm really missing the chance to have all of the comments on 1 page. I use <CTRL>+F a lot to quickly find what I want in a long thread, but that doesn't work if the comments are split across multiple pages. Some threads on this forum are more than 10 pages long.

vkmast wrote on 9/20/2016, 8:07 AM

Yes. I navigated directly to the end of this post/thread the way you describe. I could not quote you by pressing QUOTE.

Also, in case if you accidentally click Insert Code like this, you can't turn it off again.

So, it will be like this....

We could do with a mode like on other forums (normally top left above the post) where you can look into the raw code of the post you're making and fix formatting issues.

NickHope wrote on 9/21/2016, 2:45 AM

It would be nice if we could see the "Thanks" count on our own posts, not just the total number of "Thanks" our profile. Sounds vain but actually it's useful to know when we're being helpful or not.

vkmast wrote on 9/21/2016, 3:20 AM

Nick, can you open (from your profile pages) directly your last comment page(currently 143)? I can't.

Just wondering because I can open my last (i.e. latest comments) page (currently 98), if there's a limit.

vkmast wrote on 9/21/2016, 3:57 AM

Interestingly, if I go to my PC (Firefox or Chrome), your most recent comments page is shown to be 143. The same with my smartphone, but there I can scroll the page numbers. Your most recent comments are on page 140 and correct. Pages 141 to 143 are on the scrollable list but do not exist.

NickHope wrote on 9/21/2016, 4:55 AM

Can see and scroll all my comments up to 143 on my PC in FF 48.0.2

vkmast wrote on 9/21/2016, 5:32 AM

Thanks. I need to use a workaround replacing "...page=143" with "...page=140" on the browser's address bar. At the moment I see your above comment as most recent on page 140 then. Just one of those things I guess. Maybe my localized versions filter something.

This might be out of this forum's scope, but when we send support ticket at https://support2.magix.com/customer/en/vegas/form , we don't have a copy of our reports, only ticket number. This will confuse us in case we send multiple tickets of different issues.

Please provide the copy of our reports on the reply.

Another bug, presumably related to this one ... If you navigate directly to the end of a post, by clicking on "Answers" section on the right, then edit your comment there, you get 2 edit windows:

I'm on Firefox 49.0.

Can anyone else confirm?

NickHope wrote on 9/23/2016, 12:25 AM

The ability for moderators to merge threads would be useful to reduce duplicate threads on the same subject. e.g. I wanted to merge this and this but couldn't. This is a common feature on other forum software

vkmast wrote on 9/23/2016, 5:53 AM

Nick, re 2 edit windows. I tested in about 5 posts where my comment was still the last one. Went by clicking on Answers and I did not get the same issue. Firefox 47.0.1.

NormanPCN wrote on 9/24/2016, 12:39 PM

I would like to see the "leaving community" redirect page disappear. It is silly and wasteful or my time in general and downright braindead when you are actually not leaving the forum but linking to another forum post.

Okay MAGIX decides to create their own forum software. I guess they think they can do better. Fine, but MAGIX has implemented much of the worst traits of various forum software implementations in their implementation. WTF

Also watching the text entry box jumping around (changing size a line) on each letter I enter is a braindead quirk. WTF.

Get a grip guys/gals.

and why does the 'important posts' keep growing - you can't even keep it minimised and there'still no mark thread read.

agree with norman, pretty awful forum implementation.
