If you don't get your email within a day or 2 after other folks report getting it, you may need to file a support request with Magix Sales Support. This has happened to me in the past when I made my purchase using an e-mail address that was not gmail.com or outlook.com due to a security flaw in Magix dns. I've attempted to thwart the issue this go around by making my 2-for-1 purchase with a temporary gmail address. Fingers crossed.

Thanks. I do have Gmail. It's the first time I bought this offer. I just thought they would sort out the pre-orders first, on day one of the new release. Surely they don't do it by hand, one by one.
Purchases 18 to 19 email limited time upgrade offer on 06/07/2021 for $249.00 (already owned v18 prior to that) has to wait for serial. Could of purchased upgrade on day of release for $199 saved $50 and got serial number same day! Really bad.
Yes, next time I will think twice before getting offer like this.
I'm running the trial in the meantime. Not impressed that much. Could have saved the money as I already had V18.
I bought the upgrade to Post. It looks like the Vegas Effects and Vegas Image overwrite the older versions. So I am not sure if you can use Vegas Post 18 and Vegas Post 19 on the same computer.
I asked Magix Sales Support. Their reply email: The email with the serial number will come next week. So you will have to be patient. Interesting is of course the interpretation of "immediately after release", people might have thought a few hours after release.... But I guess I will manage to live with VP18 until then.
I've received two emails for the announcement paid upgrade, but still waiting on the serial number. Actually more disappointing is the price for upgrade on the day of release is significantly less expensive than the offers previous. It would seem those more faithful and upgrading early would receive better pricing, and even more so, their purchases first. Now I'm hearing it may be next week at thus point....so potentially waiting up to a week for a prepaid, downloadable purchase.
Upgrading early also included licenses for VEGAS 18 as well, so you can't directly compare the 18+19 bundle to the price of 19 by itself on release. That's technically 4 machines you can install VEGAS on for the former offer, as each license works for 2 machines when you buy perpetual licenses.
That said, they are aware of the email issues and are working to correct them, they fumbled that one.
As far as I'm concerned Magix has more then dropped the ball here, it's unacceptable that I should have to wait around until they decide to front up with the goods that I have paid for. I trust them even less every time I purchase one of their products.
This is what they said they would do, but didn't:
Upgrade: VEGAS 19 Post
How and when will I get the new version?
When the new version is released, you will receive an email
with your serial number and instructions for downloading.
Please keep an eye on your spam folder around this time

4 machines - Is that actually the case? I bought the upgrade to 18+19 but I was already upgraded to 18. I thought I was getting an asap upgrade to 19. I love Vegas as software but the marketing sucks. I am hopeful 19 will be the last upgrade, for a while at least. 18 does all I need - I just want better stability.
@fifonik yes it would be helpful if the (frustrated) users actually noticed and read the pinned "Important posts". Monitoring actively esp. the forum's 5-year MAGIX era has not quite convinced me about that. E.g. the FAQs need to be quoted time and again.
I'd be surprised if that were the case. With the 18/19 offer, surely the serial number (SN) for 18 will only apply to VP18 and the 19 SN will only apply to VP19, each of which only allow 2 active installs at the same time. I wouldn't have thought that the 18 and 19 SNs are inter-changeable between both VP18 and 19. But maybe I've misinterpreted the meaning of "one version on 4 machines". Apologies if I have.

I guess he meant 2×V18 + 2xV19. So yes, it can be installed on 4 different computers.
If v18 (perpetual) license owners upgraded using the 18+19 offer, they should have two S/Ns of v18 and one S/N of v19 (when they have received the email containing that S/N).
"That's technically 4 machines you can install VEGAS (18) on for the former offer, as each license works for 2 machines when you buy perpetual licenses" as @fr0sty already said above. Actually "two simultaneous activations / Serial number". See the main FAQ, item 9.
Note that you should still be able to deactivate VP 18 from the Help menu, which is not currently possible with VP 19 at least until an update (there only the MAGIX account option "once a month").
