Click the "Hamburger" button. Unclick "Event Headers". If you want to hide all buttons, click the Hamburger and Edit Visible Button Set. Click Hide All and OK.

If you have the Event Headers button on the band, click that and then the Hamburger etc. if you want to hide all buttons.

You'll see only the Hamburger.

Thanks, I have done that "hamburger thing" but the band persists.

Try View menu > Event Headers

Try View menu > Event Headers

Are we talking about Vegas Pro 15?

following is a screen capture that illustrates "View menu"

It's missing from your version. I don't know why. Try CTRL+SHIFT+M.

@obsidiana

Try Ctrl+Shift+M

He seems to miss this option (at least).

A language version error? Which build #?

Did you try the KB option mentioned twice?

Just a wild guess, the user in the OP is probably using build 177 of VP 15, which did not have this option.

Indeed...Going through the bug fixes and features in the patch notes I missed this re Update 1 (build 216):

"Added a button to events that enables the user to hide/show the new event headers".

Btw, there's also the rare late update 8/ build 416 of VPro 15 released today.

Note that the updates are cumulative.

That's correct, mine is build 177

Then don't hesitate to update to the latest build.
