I tried your second option and it appears there is an error with google chrome "How to Fix “javascript:void(0)” Error in Google Chrome on Windows 10". I tried the solution from one YT video, but it did not work. Option 1 did not work either. It's something with Java
@xcd Please contact customer support. It would seem there is a mismatch between the software you are trying to register and the serial number that you have.
We're excited to announce VEGAS 19 Update 4 will be available next week! Keep an eye on the VEGAS Creative Software social channels for more information.
Here are some of the new features in Update 4:
Apple ProRes support for both import & export
Apply the Color Grading Panel at the media, track, and video output level (no more having to copy and paste event attributes or make LUTS to apply color grading to other events/tracks/the entire project)
Optical Flow slow motion for velocity curves (smooth slomo in all modes now!)
Expanded lower limit for playback rate
Speech to Text functionality (yes, folks, automatic subtitles in 105 different languages!)
@fr0sty ... I've never been on FB so I can't access that detailed information, but I'm sure that many would be interested in knowing in advance if the next build of Vegas Pro supports Windows 11. Is that mentioned?
@vkmast ... I imagine that you meant me rather than @Grazie , but I was assuming in my earlier comment that having an FB account - which I don't have and never will - provided access to extra information like so many pay-wall sites provide for 'members'.
@Grazie@Dexcon sorry. I'm sure I corrected it, but I think similar "mistagging" is reported to have happened also previously on the forum. Glad you figured it out.
edit: earlier the same behaviour reported here by @EricLNZ and confirmed in the comment below there.
I've never been on FB so I can't access that detailed information, but I'm sure that many would be interested in knowing in advance if the next build of Vegas Pro supports Windows 11. Is that mentioned?
TIA.
There's no additional info on FB, it's just a teaser. Nothing on Windows 11, bug fixes or any other detail. FB isn't a paywall site and you don't need a Facebook account to see what's at that link.
When it comes out there will be a thread here and I look forward to it myself!
I have been using Movie Studio for about a decade, upgrading as each new release came out. Vegas Movie Studio 17 is running fine on my Windows 10 Pro i7-64 bit. I upgraded to Movie Studio 18 but found the intentional downgrade in capability troubling. I switched to Vegas Pro 18. Until recently, it was running pretty good. Now when I load a project the video track is mostly white which obviously makes editing a challenge. THis does not happen with the same input video file in 19. I upgraded to Vegas Pro 19 and have now uninstalled the initial download and installed the 448 update. Vegas Pro 19 does not function. The same 6-minute single video track video that Movie Studio 17 would render in about 8 minutes, Vegas Pro 19 struggled to get done in over a half hour. Just trying to drag and drop an wav file into Vegas Pro 19 causes it to crash. Trying to do a minor edit will cause it to pause for 3-5 minutes. Once, it caused the PC with 32 G and a new 5 G video card to freeze. When I do a driver check, it tells me to install the current NVIDIA Quadro P2200 driver version that is already installed. (I upgraded to the P2200 card hoping to "fix' the Vegas Pro issues.) It said that no new software update was available when 448 was available. (I don't think that 448 was then installed.) I hope that my problems lie with some internal software settings related to the video card but I haven't found an info on this. Movie Studio 17 is running circles around Vegas Pro 19.
I get a message that my code is not installed. Can't render as mp4. It tells my I should install it as admin which i did. But it does not work! can anyone help? thanks!
This must be a windows 11 issue I thought 532 would fix it, but Vegas still recognises the OS as win 10... c'mon peoples!
Why does my menu still look like this? I have to click repeatedly on the arrow to get to whatever is below it. I was really hoping this ' major update' would have fixed this glaring anomaly. This horror never happened in any version of vegas before even back in the early Sony days. It makes me question Magix' competence.
It is 07/03/2023 and I'm still having issues with the GL Transitions. This is ridiculous. I even tried re-setting and re-installing the software, and the "workaround" did NOT work.
@Juan_E, this is your first message here in the forum, so you've never brought this up before. If you want help, read THIS and provide the information in "B" and "C". Also provide what "workaround" you used that didn't work. Also, did you contact support? This is a user to user forum. None of us work for Vegas.
The GL Transitions work wonderful on my computer. I've even added some made by others and they work flawlessly.
No, there are other posts about the issues with the GL transitions, which I can't find how to actually workaround. Also, the software needing to disconnected from the internet to open, simply ridiculous. For the price I paid for the software, the amount of time they have been in business and the amount of competitors, I'd expect more
