I NEED URGENT HELP!

After Build 300 my files are opening and being rendered like this. What do I do VEGAS?

@wellington-etinho Can you share MediaInfo for the file? Would be great to understand what's not working. Here's how: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-to-post-mediainfo-and-vegas-pro-file-properties--104561/

For what to do, try going to preferences/ file io and click on "enable legacy AVC decoding." Hopefully the corruption will be gone.

Hi,

I just purchased Vegas Edit Pro version 21 yesterday, I started to work on a new project about an hour ago. I'm crashing like I never did with Vegas. Everything I do, almost, is subject to a crash. I was working with version 19 before which was stable but this is more than I bargained for. If someone has a solution...???

Thanks

Michel

To get a solution it is better to start your own post and give all the needed information following this under B and C: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/important-information-required-to-help-you--110457/

Having major issues with audio since updating this morning. I have checked this on a couple of projects and the audio for speaking clips (possibly mono) are very slow! Any ideas? I see there are quite a few other errors too. The last version for me that worked was 108. Can we re-install that and if so, could you let me have a link to the download please. I have work to do. Thanks : )

@Freefly I saw the same thing with mono audio. On page 1 of this thread I posted that if you convert it to wav it works or if you check "enable legacy AVC" under preferences file io it works. Otherwise you can get all old versions from the download page here.

Thanks Roger, I will give that a go 👍

Edit: Great stuff, that worked. Thanks again Roger, this saved me going back a build or two!

别忘了Steam版

Use r huachayu's comment translated: "Don’t forget the Steam version".

I suppose that's a question as well.

@huachayu The steam version will be released in a few days. It is going through final testing right now.

Installed update, and it takes too long to open a project created in previous version

more than 45 minutes, close program, and same thing

I am having issues when importing Canon XF605 recorded .MXF files. The timeline video pixilates in the preview window, all four audio channels load, and the audio is out of sync with the video by approximately 23 frames.

@Jose M. Estrada all my old projects open just fine, no matter what content that is it.

What you failed to do is give details on the project itself.

Start a new post with specifics, including what your computer specs are, what is in the problematic project, what version was the project created in, and do you experience this with all projects or just this one.

@David-Marcou I've opened several .mxf files without any issue. They all have 6 channels of audio.

But I don't have one from your specific camera.

Is it possible to upload to the cloud so that it can be tested?

RogerS wrote on 4/9/2024, 10:06 AM

Thanks David, so it's a RTX 3060 GPU and 10-bit 422 AVC. I've also see the audio drift with Canon MXF files but have not seen the pixelation with my NVIDIA GPUs. A few second sample video would be great as Reyfox asked.

Loaded and runs perfectly for me, until I also scrubbed the timeline back and forth when it caused black squares interference and loss of sound sync. All fine in V20 however.

I don't know how ProType Titler would have any effect. But glad everything is working.

If after an update, things that used to work now don't, go through the Preferences to see if everything is as it was before.

@David-Marcou

I can confirm that the file shows sometimes pixelations - especially during playback, if you jump with the cursor to another place. And I have seen also that voice and video goes out of sync. Will foreward that to the development team.

Please do not delete the file.
