Vegas Pro 15 Project Markers in DVD Architect

rtbond wrote on 12/18/2018, 6:55 AM

I am having trouble getting the Vegas Pro 15 project markers to show up in DVD Architect (Build 67, 2016). "Save Project markers in render Media File" option is set when render the Digital Dolby AC3 audio from Vegas. The video is being rendered as "Magix AVC/AAC MP4 (Blu-Ray 1920x1080, 60i 25 Mbps video stream)".

My understand was Project markers are saved in the *.sfl file (which is located in the media folder along with the DVDA project file)

Any suggestions?

What happens if instead you use the Sony AVC or Magix AVC BluRay 1920x1080 Video Stream templates (and Sony Wave64 audio for the audio stream) instead of the muxed MP4?

Instruct DVD Architect to read the markers from the audio file.

I haven't felt the need to run a newer version of DVD Architect though I have more licenses than any one person should be allowed to own.

You my use my Tool ExportMarkerSFL.zip without rendering.

The above workaround from @john_dennis worked in Vegas DVD Architect 7 as well.

Using the Sony AVC/MVC Blu-ray template fixed the problem. I am not sure why the Magix AVC Blu-ray template lacks the ability to embed Marker information, but now that I know I will avoid it when authoring to Blu-ray.
