Something is wrong with the new version, I can't render a 90min movie. Vegas eats up all my RAM and crashes. It's a strange phenomenon because it shows that veas uses over 30GB, and my overall memory status is almost 100% after 1hh of rendering. I have to give the material to the client and I can't render it, what should I do??

VP22 New Explorer - my review.

I never used it. I have always used Windows Explorer.
However, it has been slow since VP12 and the team is not yet willing to fix its speed.

I am forced to use this new one if I require quick tagging of files at once.

What I would like:
I would like the new explorer to replace the old one from Windows, which you open by clicking "Open".

What bothers me:
1. If you set your explorer size in Vegas and close Vegas and open it again, it doesn't remember the previous size and is reduced again.

2. Some guys have already written about problems with the alpha channel in the explorer.

3. Further discussion here:

I have a problem. Whenever I try to transfer my other VST's to VEGAS Pro 22.0 (build 93) from VEGAS Pro 14.0, it doesn't transfer and nothing works.

I'm SO DELIGHTED to see the new opening screen. The previous one did not look at all professional, and I always dreaded the possibility that one of my clients would be standing behind me when I opened Vegas 21, thinking I was using some amateur NLE.

Another file where frames are not in correct position, completely black = correct, non black = not correct

It's most likely a VFR problem with Vegas, playback is much better than VP21 with the same file

I too really like the new opening screen. Being able to choose options right away like that is great.

In 22 I miss the old familiar windows Yellow Folders. Is there a page with a spec of what makes 22 better than 21?

@Stevie  ... the Vegas Pro 22 announcement on the forum's News section lists the new features:

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-22-now-available--146668/

If you want to use the former Vegas Explorer window, it's still available in Vegas Pro 22. Go to Options/Preferences/Deprecated Features (tab) and the bottom itme in the list is 'Enable Legacy Explorer). Select it, hit Apply and then OK, close down and restart Vegas Pro and then click on the View menu. The Legacy Explorer window is now selectable in the Window selection of the View menu.

If you are saving a Vegas windows layout, it seems that you can only have either the new explorer or the legacy open selected - one or the other, not both. If both are selected in the windows array, legacy explorer will not appear the next time Vegas Pro is opened.

@Dexcon thanks. I've done that. It seems with every new update I'm increasingly living in 'Legacy' land. I see no logic reason for changing the colors of the folders other than an aesthetic decision to give Vegas a 2-tone interface

Where's the Mocha Plugin? I downloaded the V22 trial version (which did not contain the Mocha Plugin) and was very pleased to see that it handled my Canon R3 & R5 All-I footage without the black frames & glitches I saw in Vegas Pro 21. So, I "officially" upgraded to Pro 22 suite. I can't see where my order confirmation letter includes download & installation instructions for Mocha Vegas. Can someone help?

Mocha VEGAS is indeed mentioned in the website's product pages as part of the VEGAS Pro 22 Suite.

Try emailing shop@magix.net and include your order number.

Just need one confirmation....

now there will be always VEGAS Pro. no other extra software's like VEGAS effect and image.

if yes... then what will happen to their support community? They will stay her forever.

Is VP22 a free upgrade from VP21? Is it a beta version? The VP22 announcement lists bug fixes, in the past, bug fixes were never listed for upgrades.

@Howard-Vigorita Thanks so much. That worked perfectly. Installed & registered without problem.

@vkmast Thanks to you as well. I sent an email to Magix and got a support ticket number. I'm sure they won't get to it until Monday. Although I've solved the problem, hopefully they will recognize the issue and include the Mocha download link in the order confirmation email for the future.
