Burn dvd

Just purchased Vegas movie studio 14. found out 3 days later that I need another program to burn a DVD. I downloaded the 30 day trial DVD architect. Still there is no burn DVD button after clicking the movie button. do I need to link these two programs together somehow? I have been using adobe for years. Figure I try something new, wish I didn't. Can't exchange this program since I opened it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re burning dvd, study Cornico's comments here.

Re exchanging the program, read this thread.

Thank you, I will try the your first link first. Seems like a nice editor so would like to give it a chance. Was just frustrated after spending time making a movie and couldn't burn it.

I purchased at best buy, the guy on the phone said I couldn't exchange since I down loaded onto my computer.

Thank you for your help.

Did you buy the basic Movie Studio 14 version or Platinum? The basic version is missing features compared to Platinum. Also Platinum comes with DVDA7. Probably too late for you now but useful for the future. Also as you've discovered Magix offer 30 day trials on Vegas products.

Yes, I did purchase the basic. Going to try to see if best buy will let me exchange and upgrade to the platinum.

Ok, I was able to exchange the Vegas 14 basic for the Vegas 14 platinum. What a difference in programs. I burnt a DVD and looks great. Only wish I researched a little more before purchasing. I have been using an adobe editor for a few years, so I have some learning to do with Vegas 14. Thank you guys for your info and links, very helpful!

Considering you bought it at a big box retailer, I consider that a success.
