joel-w wrote on 3/18/2018, 4:20 PM

When I am trying to use the color correction it will not show me any changes live on my video as im doing it. So im able to move everything around on the color correction but I cant see anything change on my video screen. If I use color curves I can see the changes im making at that exact moment but not with color correction. Please help. I have Vegas 14

Possibly the split screen button at the top of the preview is turned OFF.

I just tried that. It didn’t work. Now if I go to custom inside of color corrector I can see changes being made but not if I’m under parameters.

@Musicvid : Yeah, but this an Asymmetrical Issue. I'd expect that would effect BOTH FXs, but @joel-w is saying it works in CCurves, so can't be that?

@joel-w : Do you have the latest/last Build of VP14? Unless you have a reason not to, sounds like a Factory Reset is in order. Asymmetrical stuff is a whopper to chase down.

And just to confirm, I've checked in VP14 and I can't repro your issue, I get immediate Updates in Preview using EITHER Colour FXs.

Have you tried using the various settings in the drop down menu for this button?

Grazie, I tend to agree, I wonder if it might be some stuck or auto keyframes happening.

@Grazie how do I do a factory reset? If I do that will I lose anything that is on the program or just my settings will be changed?

The arrow at the side of the icon lists several options for the preview screen which will allow you to hide the fx adjustments or show them there in several ways.
