Help not fast coming

Has anyone actually had a help ticket completed by MAGIX I have had a problem starting Vegas Movie 15 platinum for weeks, it wont get past the first splash screen yet I cant seem to get a reply from anywhere on how to fix this, the software simply refuses to open after numerous un installs and re installs, I have contacted support, sent screenshot and still never had an answer.

Wish I could help more but technical is not my thing. But apart from trying to uninstall and reinstall. I would get the free trial version of platinum 16 and see if that opens or not. If it does open then maybe it's a system issue?

See if there is something here that you could try. And is there any particular point where it always hangs (see the text above the progress bar)?

I have 16 already, bought it a week after buying 15 Dimitrios

In the area you have outlined Vkmast is my email address, it seems to error when it says creating windows

Note that "Creating windows..." may take (worst case) several minutes in v.15 and 16.

Every time I try, this pops up and when I click it the program closes and when I try again it happens again, it just wont go past this point no matter how many times I un install and re install

Try this if you haven't yet. And in Problem Report click "Show problem details" and post a screenshot. (Full resetting instructions)

been trying that, it does open the clear cache box then closes, done it about 10 times just now, is it anything to do with me having 16 installed as well as 15

Well its got me lost then, nothing seems to work, both copies were bought direct from MAGIX website and ran side by side for about 2 weeks then the first (15) simply stopped working, I am running it on a laptop, i7 16GB ram and SSD HDD so should run ok ……..its got me completely lost.

VKMAST...………...you sir are a star, I have just deleted everything and installed only 15 and 16 AND they both work, so tomorrow I will go about installing FX and seeing which one conflicts and let you know for future reference if any other forum member has the same problem, again thank you all very much.
