This may be a stupid question, but I downloaded Vegas Pro Edit for Windows 8 and I can't seem to find the 64 bit version of the application. Where is it?
There is no Vegas Pro Edit for Windows 8, there are many versions of Vegas pro. I think with beginning either Version 12 or 13, it is only 64 bit.
All VEGAS Pro versions from MAGIX are 64-bit. All VEGAS Pro purchase options (Pro Edit, Pro, Pro Suite) have the same VEGAS Pro. The trial versions can be found e.g. from here. Note that "officially" it needs Windows 10.
Alright thanks, I have Vegas Pro 17. So I'm guessing that means there is only a Vegas Pro 64 bit.
The last time they made a 32 bit version was 11, I believe, in 2011.
