I got mentioned on Jeapardy!

A former student and theater intern of mine (1998-2007) was a contestant on Jeapardy! today, and mentioned me as a former music teacher who challenged him to "bite off a little more than I could chew" building mechanical actors for a regional stage production in 2004. Imagine that.

A few people even thought ours were better than the hydraulic Audrey II at the Ford.

Oh, he lost on Final Jeapardy, but I'm just as proud.

Congratulations. An impressive piece of work. Good to know your efforts are still appreciated. Well done.

Congratulations from me as well. But as one who has learned much from you here I have always thought that the recognition of your work should never have been in jeopardy anyway 👍

Yes, I should have said "Thank you" as well as I have learned much from you as well.

That is cool. I watch it every day but would not have recognized your name.

His mention of me was as a "former music teacher."

That was actually kind of cool. Shows he has developed some metacognition 😮.

Turns out this was a rerun that originally aired while I was moving several months ago. Still glad I got to see it.

Luckily, you are familiar with reruns on this forum as well 😎.
