Installation Error

JBM50 wrote on 4/15/2020, 8:08 PM

I purchased Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 16, downloaded and started installation. everything went fine until the end. Got an error message

-2147163964

I have Windows 10. What does this mean and why won't the program finish the install and create a short cut?

Hi, did everything. Turned off .NET Framwork - same error. Uninstalled all the Visual C++ and reinstalled them. Same error and still not loaded. Any suggestions?

Where were you advised to turn off .NET Framework?

If you get error "2147163964" or the message "Download is incorrect" during installation, you may have a problem with the "Microsoft .Net Framework".
You can troubleshoot this problem by first checking that the "Microsoft .Net Framework" is active on your system.

"Microsoft .Net Framework" is integrated into the operating system and can be enabled through "Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features On or Off".
We recommend that you check both boxes for "Microsoft .Net Framework" and then click "Apply" and "OK".
Please note that you may need to restart the system for these changes to occur.

I think the RAM should be 12 GB because 120 GB is very, veryyyyyyy much .
For the rest I don't see a problem in your hardware voor VMS 16
