Not 1080 quality

SheroxGG wrote on 5/30/2019, 5:08 AM

When I render at 1080 quality it isn't really that quality, I have no idea of what's happening but I can see that the quality is not perfect. Here is a video, its in Spanish and is a game play so mute the sound and look how everything is a little pixelated:

Ty for the help! Now more people can help thanks a lot. The post is updated.

You have to give also here the MediaInfo, you only gave in your link the Vegas properties from which I could read that your sourcefile is FHD AVC 60 fps.
But much more important are your projectsettings and your used rendertemplate. Without that nobody is able to say something about your problem.

1. First, try disabling so4 per these instructions:

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/avc-xavc-s-issues-in-vp15-try-disabling-so4compoundplug-dll--108345/

2. Also, might try raising your capture bitrate to 30 Mbps. It's nominally ok, but doing this will raise your minimum bitrate a bit. That's where the majority of shadow blocking comes from.

Hello thanks for the help!!

1. I left a comment on that guide because I cannot find so4 on the settings when following the guide, so I am waiting for an answer.

2. I dont know where to change the Capture bitrate is it: bit speed variable? I cannot upload a picture for some reason but check the post, ive updated it with the picture

Musicvid wrote on 5/31/2019, 3:31 PM

1. Your video used it, so it is there. Nick's instructions are precise and accurate, so don't skip any steps. I've used the procedure several times.

2. We have no way of knowing, because you did not share which capture application you used

I followed the guide, and I know that it is there but when I type in Preferences so4 like he did I cannot see those Names.

I added a picture of the program video settings to the post! Again thanks for the help!

I did all of the things that you told me to do... and it is not working :(

Musicvid wrote on 6/3/2019, 1:26 PM

You will need to be more specific to receive any help.

What's not working?

Can't find so4?

Or disabling so4 doesn't work? Which is it??

What other suggestions specifically for you try? "All of those things" is not an answer.

What exact steps did you take, and what were the outcomes of each?

We helps those who helps themselves. Welcome to the forum, and best if luck!

@SheroxGG
When are you planning to give the info about your projectsettings and the template you have used for rendering that simple FHD AVC nearly 60 p progressive sourcefile that you have made by OBS using the Nvidia NVENC encode option???????
Unless you gave that info nobody can help you any further here.

Disabling So4 helps sometimes playing your project on the timeline in preview but it helps nothing when you use a wrong project or wrong rendersettings for exporting that project.

I strongly suggest you ask a friend who understands Windows a little better and ask (or pay) them to walk you through the steps, which have now been explained especially for you many, many times by your patient peers And then enroll in a course that will teach these basic Windows skills to you. If you are still enrolled in middle school, your school librarian can get you signed up for these courses for free!

I can promise you that this has nothing to do with the language you speak. There are billions of Windows installations worldwide, and they all use the same commands. A video editing forum is not the best place to start learning any of that. When you can provide all of the information in this link, one thing at a time, feel free to drop back in and we'll discuss it, just like everybody else. Best of luck!

When you work to make a video ( so working with Vegas software)you are working in a project with certain settings. Those settings can be different, most used when working with the same kind of footage those projectsettings matches the settings of the files.
We need to know what those settings are in the project you were working with and from that project the export was not as you expected. Show a screenshot of those settings, see next screenshot you can simple upload to this forum with the button with the arrow on top of your message

Plus screenshots of your export settings following the next screenshot with the setting as 1 and a possible customized setting at 2

I really understand your frustration, and thanks for the help and good comments that you gave me. I dont want to learn everything about sony vegas, i am writing this on the forum because I just want to make good quality videos, ive looked to many videos on the internet of how to render but it didnt fix my problem. Thanks for the help and for your patient.

j-v wrote on 6/3/2019, 2:47 PM

@SheroxGG

1. Your projectsettings are wrong for framerate and for the resample mode, set this to fps 59..... and disable resample.

2.Your customized renderoption is with much to high bitrate, take at least the same as the default used template.

PS.
When you continue to put your screenshots at a foreign website in stead of this one with this button as asked

I don't answer you anymore.

I'm not sure, however it also looks like you have 'interlaced' in project setting. It should be 'progressive' for your media.
