ONE-TIME license

Hello!

I am the one of many, who have been trained the training in the use of your software hand have a student license  that does not allow to earn from it. In the world there is an unprecedented economic crisis happening and I'm not the only one who can't afford to buy a commercial license.

MY PROPOSAL!

To introduce the possibility of online purchase of a ONE-TIME license for a specific file (PAYMENT SIZE PROPORTIONAL TO FILE SIZE) which will be sent to your service. That will help:

1. People with student license or hacked software to legalize their activities in the conditions of receiving irregular income, as well as protect copyrights.

2. Your company will receive income from a fairly wide range of users (especially Third World countries) who are forced to violate your commercial interests.

I am sure that this proposal has a real economic background and concerns a wide range of software manufacturers, THEREFORE I am sending an identical text to all companies with potential interest.

Thank you for your post. Please be aware that this is a user community forum. You need to address your request to the company that owns the software. Note though that there are several monthly subscription payment plans available for VEGAS Pro. Please see https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/vegas-pro-365/.

  • Single, per-use licensing is not a logistically sustainable business model.
  • The subscription models that are available can all be cancelled.
  • Oftentimes, discounts offered by third party software vendors are actually lower than the aca discount.
  • There is no restriction against having an aca and a full version on the same machine at the same time.

The biggest issue with the proposal: the codec licensing fees that we pay for every install of the product. Whether it is for a "one-time" use, a perpetual license or a subscription, those licensing fees will still need to be paid. Some of those fees are not triggered until the user actually needs them, but other need to be paid for every VEGAS product purchase. The alternative is the subscription model which is not available for Movie Studio, but is for VEGAS Pro. This gives access to the software at a much cheaper introductory level.

And quite honestly, that is all most people will ever need or use. Movie Studio Platinum is a smart buy, regardless of what else you have on your system.
