Hi, i relaise then Sony Vegas Pro 14 show folders first & then media files but, i want to make Vegas show first media files & then folders.

For some reason even if i have already set into Preference->General: "Show trimmed history with file name first & then folder" -on, still Vegas order folders first & then media files.

In Vegas Pro 9, Vegas show first last edited & newer media files first & last folders, everytime when i lunch app but, Vegas 14 reset my last order setuping & show folders first & then files even i don't want to so, how i set Vegas show files first & then folder? Ordering newer files first & then last edited folder?

Vegas for the most part follows standard Windows hierarchy.. Although Android can show you files first inside reclassified virtual media folders, Vegas is optimized to run on Windows.

Sorry, I didn't read your question completely. No Vegas 14 here, but someone will be glad to help.

Is there any particular reason for this preference of yours other than that you got used to the order with Sony Vegas Pro 9? I don't know how to change the order in Magix Vegas Pro 14. Of course you know though that you can use "Last modified" (Explorer View pull-down menu, Details) to see last modified folders, then files first.

Well, yeah. I can sort separately by pressing sorting tabs like "Last modified" when the program is started but it takes time each time it needs to do. For example, if there are a lot of media files, the program can loading for a while before it sorts the files but, in Vegas 9, they are ready correctly and this saves a lot of time. But, still also when i sorting tabs like "Last modified" in explorer view, those Vegas 14 still show folders first & then files, even i want to sorting files first.

The main thing here is that, for example, when sorting has done once or changes to Vegas 14 when the program quits, it does not save changes to the program when the program is launched next time.
