Hi @Per-Lind and welcome to this forum!

From another forum see post #2 here https://www.moviestudiozen.com/forum/movie-studio-platinum/2372-very-slow-startup-for-vegas-movie-studio-suite-16#12085

Thanks.
When the program is open it take very long waiting time before I can do something if I click on some button.
I had this problem in Magix VPX some years ago but now that VPX is fluid.
Its a shame if Vegas know the problem and still havent do something to fix it.
The only Plugins I use it those was part of the software + Sonicfire Pro 6 (but the problems occur before I installed that Plugin).

Its curies that NewBlue Titler Pro open by it self.

You are using GPU accelerated plugins.

Does your screen look like this?

Per-Lind wrote on 2/4/2020, 10:53 AM

Yes.

This is a known issue with easy solutions.

1. Update your video drivers to the latest official version.

2. If that does not fix it completely, turn off "GPU Acceleration of Video Processing" in Preferences. Doing so will not affect your renders, but should cure your white screen crashes.

Unfortunately, this option was left on by default, when it does not work with all graphics drivers, affecting quite a number of users. In fact, I have personally facilitated six such reports within the past five weeks...

Thanks for your help.

Will try.

Do you have any other versions of New Blue Titler Pro installed, only one version can be active on your computer, possible reason for NBTP opening by itself

Musicvid: I have looked in Preferences and "GPU .." was deactivated. I activated it to see if something happen, but no, same time of startup.

robertOZ: As an old Magix VPX user I have Titler Pro for Magix installed.
Should I uninstall the Vegas-version?

This is response from New Blue

Hello Robert,

Thank you for contacting NewBlue. I sincerely apologize, as you figured out yourself it is not possible to have two separate versions of Titler Pro on the same computer. Unfortunately there isn't a workaround for this that I know of.

Just to make sure, is Movie Studio 16 working when you have just Titler Pro 7 Express installed?

Vegas Movie Studio Suite open and during this time NewBlue Titler Pro is opening. I dont know which version but it says 2009-2017 Build 190523.
I own TitlerPro 5 as standalone and the plugin for Magix VPX and the one included in Vegas.

I have bought and installed Vegas Movie Studio 16 Suite but when the program is opened it says it is Movie Studio 16 Platinum. Is that OK?

Yes. The Suite comprises VMS Platinum plus extra FX etc. The comparison is here.

@Per-Lind From robertOZ and NewBlue's comments it appears you need to uninstall one of your TitlerPros as you cannot have two versions installed.

Per-Lind wrote on 2/6/2020, 4:45 AM

NewBlue FX Titler:
I have Titler Pro 5 Standalone, which is the program opened during Vegas opening.
I have tryed uninstall this but I cant find any uninstaller. The software information said it should be in C:/Program Files/NewBlueFX but I dont see any folder with this name. I have "Show all files" on.
I look at Apps but the only one I see there is the NewBlue FX Titler 7 Express.

I have Magix VPX last version installed with NewBlueFX Titler Pro 6 for Magix.

How should I uninstall the Standalone version?
Could I keep the Magix-version?

You state that you have Titler Pro 5 standalone version, is this a full version, one that you have purchased, or a bundled version.

To delete a program go to Control Panel/ Programs and Features, locate program and select delete.

New Blue have stated that you can only have one version installed, you need to decide which version to keep and delete the rest

Exactly. As the NewBlue FX Titler 7 Express is a rather restricted version of the Pro, first consider if you really need that if one of the other versions is working your Movie Studio 16 version.

Per-Lind wrote on 2/6/2020, 5:14 AM

robertOZ: Yes, its a full version bought some years ago, before Magix included Titler in VPX.
The problem: Its not showing up in "Control Panel/ Programs and Features".
I could only see it in Program folder, but there is no uninstall option.

vkmast: My full version is 5 and the Express is 7.
