Studio Sound Forge 14

I bought the movie studio platinum 17 in May 2020 and recently had to re-install to a new computer. While re-installing I notice that it gave me the option to install Sound Forge 14. I tried to activate but could because I did have the correct serial number. Is this an upgrade to the Movie Studio Platinum 17 platform or is this only available for the present purchase of Movie Studio 17?

Was Sound Forge offer valid at the time you purchased VMS Platinum 17 or was VEGAS DVD Architect then still bundled with VMSP instead? I think the bundled software was changed early August.

No, it was not the offered when I purchased in May. It was DVD Architect. Thanks for clearing that up for me and thanks for the reply.

What I have noticed on some reinstalls that because of changes in the .exe being downloaded, that it will "offer" to install software titles that were really not part of my purchase.
