Taking a Break

Musicvid wrote on 6/19/2020, 9:57 AM

Burnout. Credibility. Entitlements. Crackers. Grandstanding. My attitude. It's happened before.

See you in the fall. Watch for a couple of tests and/or tutorials in OT, but peer discussions are on hold. Thought I was helping during the crunch. I was wrong. As with many, it's time to move forward.

To productivity.

So what should we do this summer, @Former user ?

Former user wrote on 6/20/2020, 11:48 AM

@Musicvid I'm riding my bicycle more, getting back into still photography and unfortunately dealing with my wife who has been diagnosed with dementia. I think my hands will be full.

Grazie wrote on 6/20/2020, 3:46 PM

@Musicvid - Rest up and come back reinvigorated. I will miss yah!

vkmast wrote on 6/20/2020, 4:23 PM

This forum would not be the same without your kind of supporters of the software and peer users.

Musicvid wrote on 6/20/2020, 4:52 PM

@Former user

I started my career in still photography, read Adams when I was twelve.

So sorry about your wife. Anything that keeps her laughing is a good thing. Plenty of family experience on this end, and don't try to go it alone.

@Grazie

I'll be back, you've seen it before. You're still my hero, even if you talk funny sometimes.

I can see that with considerable indoor time still on my hands, I'm not going to be able to stay away from the technical and objective testing discussions. So my altered plan is to participate in those, and vow to stay away from the speculative, judgmental, and Vegas-bashing caca entirely. Feel free to spank me if I stray from the tangible.
