Which audio device drivers do you have selected?

Have you clicked the Hamburger button on the Audio Track header and edited "Visible Button Set" to show "Arm for Record"? More if you Search online Help: "Recording Audio".

And my apologies for apparently this very newbie question!

Every time I Click Arm for Record nothing happens. Works for studio 16 but not 17. Did you guys change something?

@James-Best if you have the basic version, do you see "the Record button on the Transport bar of the Video Preview window to start recording"? In Platinum it's on the Transport & Editing Toolbar below the timeline. After Arming for Record remember to OK the pop-up (Project Recorded Files Folder).

No I'm running Platinum 17. I know where the arm button is. Every time I click it nothing happens. Still works for 16. I've tried making new audio tracks and that doesn't work either

This happens to me in VMS 17 P build 204 if I click Arm for Record and click OK in the appearing pop-up window and then click Record on the Toolbar below. (Win10 OS)
