I'm using Vegas Movie Studio 17 in a Windows 10 environment. When I place a video with audio on the timeline, the audio track does not display or play in the timeline. How do I get the audio track to display with the video track?
"MediaInfo can be used to show the detailed properties of your source media, which is a great help in troubleshooting many VEGAS issues. Open your file with it, and switch it to text view ("View" > "Text"). Highlight all the text in the window, copy it and paste it in your forum post."

@Thomas-Delheimer Your files are "ts" which I recall are problematic with video editors. @Musicvid is knowledgeable in this area and hopefully will be along later.
Your Hauppage files can be converted to MP4 in Handbrake (free), but may contain stream errors, especially if you're recording OTA. ADTS audio is not recognized in Vegas to my knowledge.
VideoRedo, a paid solution, is the most reliable muxer for broadcast recordings because it sanitizes the stream.
@Thomas-Delheimer Thanks for reporting back. I've marked your post as The Solution and slightly altered the thread title to make it easier for anyone in the future searching with the same problem to find this thread.
