Vegas Pro Steam Bundle

0V3RK1LL wrote on 4/17/2021, 12:00 PM

This is for magix developer not users, please. I always get that overly exited user trying to answer and speculate on everything.

I buy my Vegas Pro from steam store. I asked a question in their Vegas pro 18 community and there are zero moderators. No, steam is not responsible for any of that. The way steam works is developers who made the product are the ones who have to answer and moderate that forum for that product. Each product get their forum. Anyway, I want to know if that bundle that includes Vegas 14 and Vegas 18 also works for someone that has Vegas 15 and you put Vegas 14 because 14 was the oldest you started selling in steam. Is that bundle going to work on my Vegas 15?

this is the bundle https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/16761/Upgrade_to_VEGAS_Pro_18_Edit/

why only for Vegas pro 14 and not the rest. Why don't you sell 18 upgrades for all versions? Makes no sense. . .Or am I overlooking it and what you meant is as long as it's newer than 14? I don't know

Steam is an authorized and reliable third-party software vendor.

All questions about their bundles, marketing, and after-sales support need to go to Steam, thanks.

When you have registered your product, feel free to ask technical questions here.

'Magix will give you the same answer as this overexcited user. Magix doesn't sell that bundle.

I'm assuming you are a developer or support personal. If not then please stop assuming you know what youre talking about, cause you dont. You only contact steam if you have a problem buying the product and wanting the refund or about any problems with the store. That is it. This is about your product that you have the power to bundle it and sell it at what ever price you want during blackfridays and what not. Steam no power after they gave you permission to sell it. When people have a problem with a game or software sold in steam you dont talk to steam. They did not developed the game or software. The developers of the game in their forum provide the support on your section of the forum who you have power of even ban people. You are only responsible for your product. This is said so by steam support. If you don't feel like providing the help its ok just says so and stop selling the product in steam. You guys seam to be living in a prehistoric era of some kind. If you would provide support there people would buy it more instead of giving it such terrible reviews. I am one of the few that still buy your product and had the time to come here to ask for help since you provide none in steam and you have to. You still neglect to help me. But, no worries. Ill change my review to thumbs down and instead of buying anything from vegas sofwatre I'll buy my bundle from blackmagic instead. You guys seam to be lost and confused. Bye

@0V3RK1LL please note that this is a user to user forum. Developers do monitor this forum and may comment if and when they feel they need to comment. It's unlikely though that they are here 24/7 esp. during weekends.

FYI who's what here

And to answer your original question (even though I'm not one of those people you'd want to reply to you). As I read it, the offer seems to give you versions 14 and 18 Edit even if you have no previous version of VEGAS Pro from MAGIX. The regular Steam price for VP 14 edit seems to be the €199. (a €399 would be overkill for an end-of-life product.) See https://store.steampowered.com/app/528200/VEGAS_Pro_14_Edit_Steam_Edition/

?

I don't know what you see at your end but I see ~$300, for 14&18. but why one need 14&18? On the other hand, by the language of 0k, I see your point.
