VMS 16 Suite Locks up on start up

After entering my serial number and ID info, I tried to start up VMS 16. It got to trying to set up the windows before stopping and getting info to report the bug back to MAGIX. I disabled all my virus protection software and re-tried to start with the same lock up result. Any suggestions? I am using the most recent update for Windows 10 (1903).

Is a 64 bit version of .NET installed on your computer? Look in "Uninstall a Program"

When I check the "Uninstall a Program", .NET Framework is not shown.  However, I have looked elsewhere and see I am running version 4.8.

I successfully opened VMS 16 by renaming the Plug-Ins directory.  Specifically, VMS would not open with the NewBlueFX Plug-Ins. Through further investigation, I learned / remembered these Plug-Ins were used by Vegas Pro 10 and were in the same subdirectory as the VMS 16 Plug-Ins. Once I transferred the older ones to a different location, VMS 16 properly loaded. Problem solved.
