3) Many Non Linear editors like Vegas Pro struggle with Variable Frame Rate video so you should ask about that when you visit the forum for Movie Studio Platinum.
The link in @john_dennis' comment takes me to the Movie Studio 2022 Platinum product page. That program is a totally different product from MAGIX and not an upgrade as such to the VEGAS Movie Studio product line, even though it's somewhat misleadingly marketed as such by MAGIX. You can use your VMSP 12 serial number to get the upgrade pricing though. You can also get the upgrade pricing if you upgrade to VEGAS Edit 19 (which we recommend but always test with the free trial version first before purchasing)..
And as earlier commented, try VEGAS Support, if you think you do not get an answer on this forum. Advice here
I'm moving this thread to the correct section of the forum (see the comment above).

@fab If you'd bothered to read the very first reply you got on this post this would have been resolved
Use some software to convert your file from HEVC to AVC, then you'll be able to load it into movie studio platinum
I myself managed to import mp4 into Movie studio 12. Went to a video converter online and convert mp4 to mp4 and it all worked fine. Did you ever think of this? Guess converter mp4 holds old properties equivalent to that of the movie 12. Hehehe...
...or maybe it converted the file to a constant frame rate.... all of this could have been done in 2 or 3 posts, but you decided to withhold information and through whatever translation software you are using, post messages that were combative in nature and in the process, alienate whatever help you would have received.
Oh, and there is a free converter you could have downloaded, Handbrake.... I hope you have a better understanding about asking for help and won't repeat what you did here in the future.

'Did you ever think of this' YES!!! This was suggested by me 8 comments above this one, but it was only possible after you bothered to upload the MediaInfo, it would have been mentioned in the 4th comment in this thread if you'd read the link posted in the 1st reply
'I myself managed to import mp4 into.....' Don't be proud of yourself!, you didn't read the comments, you wasted yours & ours time, & still haven't learnt anything,
As you wrote 'You seem somewhat hard to deal with'. !
I've fair all the time not combative, this is only in your mind. I spend most of my time in this forum making you understand me through regular English. At last I guess you understood. Even if the only help came from me myself. Will take a look in your handbreak soft,
