Audio Dropouts

Hey Vegas Peeps,

I've been using Vegas for twenty years and am currently on version 18, build 373. I am running Windows 10 Pro, 96GB Ram, AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1800 8 Core, standard Realtek audio card, standard vegas vst's with obs vst's, the CPU is branny new.

It seems I keep having these weird audio dropouts in my sessions. Sometimes it is the same spot in video files, other times it moves around. If I move and slide the video around in the session, it will sometimes fix it. Sometimes i have to duplicate the media file or reimport it and then it doesn't happen. But the original file is 100% fine, high quality video.

I've removed the obs plugin and the issue still seems to happen. I've also reinstalled Vegas a couple times with the same issue.

Any driver updates or system configurations that you fellow Vegas lovers feel can help determine/rectify the issue?

I appreciate your insights!

You don't give any information on the audio file itself.

Along with MediaInfo for your files, list and specify which audio drivers and buffer settings Vegas is using. It's in "Preferences."
