whenever I import media to Vegas it gives a loading circle on my curser, then everything exits without a sign or window, just closes down

Do you think asking "What media" is a fair question?

A clean wiped PC might not have "the most up to date" graphics drivers installed. In my case, I was getting Vegas disappearing until I got my Intel UHD 630 drivers up to date.

You can try looking in the Windows event logs to see if there's anything about the program dropping dead. It's still an open issue how to report trouble when the program vanishes without leaving any diagnostics.

Can you post your Vegas version?

What are you using to download from YT? I use 4k Video Downloader without a problem.

Can you upload a sample of this source to Drive or Dropbox (not Youtube)?

Has anyone in your close circles ever mentioned the expectation that things will go wrong with computers?

Do you have a reliable system image backup discipline in place to support your mission critical video efforts?

Perhaps, you could do an Internet search for "system image backup Windows" and read a few of the results?

I don't know about you, but I find solving these types of problems very tedious. Consequently, I exert a lot of effort preventing them and/or recovering from them quickly by restoring a system that worked.

"You can thank me later." he said, as he copied system image backups of family members systems to a drive for off-site storage.

You said in your other thread that in addition to "vegas pro 15" you "even licensed vegas pro 17, and movie studio". Do all these licensed programs of yours still give you "the same result"?
