Hey
OK I've run into some problem with Vegas Pro 12.
I started a different thread for that one.
This one is a bit different.
OK
I have been for some quite some time have been doing all my converting videos through Vegas 12. Just because It is the only converter I have that seems to work without a hitch.
So what I want to do is convert my videos so they will import into DVDA 6 without needing to recompress, which through Vegas is no problem.
But now with the problem I'm having, is there a way to convert the videos using AVS video convert that will work with DVDA?
I usually use the profile in Vegas for DVDA. But AVS has no such profile. So I'm trying to figure out the settings I need to use that will allow the converted video to be imported into DVDA without the need to recompress the video. I have tried several settings myself but have hit a brickwall. Just they simply won't fly without forcing recompressing them in DVDA. I guessing I'm just not setting something right in the advanced settings in AVS. Just don't have a clue as to what.
I like AVS because the batch convert works great but the batch convert in Vegas is a pain in the you know what!
So if others out there use AVS and know the settings I would love it if you would share them. AVS I found to be slightly faster also but not enough to be a big deal.
So bottom line I need to convert videos inside AVS that will import into DVDA 6 without recompressing.
